Good point, but the load on the motor determines the load put on the bearings. For example, at light load, say in neutral, you rev to 2000 rpm and hold it there, this is a light load where the motor isn't working and the crank bearings would be making a lot of noise if they were bad. This isn't a great explanation, but I'm not a poet, or a mechanic by trade lol.

In pretty sure you know the answer to that question. I'm trying to determine if it's something that could be fixed simply due to something loose or whatnot, or something I can diagnose myself without spending money I don't have. Hence, why im on this forum. Thank you.

A video may help, depending on the quality of sound. I'd verify oil pressure first, as that will let you know right away. Good luck, hopefully it is something simple, but don't get your hopes up.
One thing that's odd is that you said this noise goes away above a certain rpm. That's a good thing.
