Default 4 cyl springs?

just wondering why some cars ive seen with v8's had 4 cyl front springs on them? is there any advantage to using them?

iwouldint , may be for a cheap drag race front spring , but definrtally get the right spring

since they are weaker you get a better launch er something. but definatley get the right springs. </P>
