tsb 6-09-09: fuel pump replaced
I took my gt to my dealer to get the fuel pump replaced, hoping that it would fix the hesitation problem when I accelerate. Seems to have fixed the problem, but I'll feel better after driving it for a few days. Just a piece of advice to the rest of you with this problem, the dealer said they would only replace it if I was definitely having problems with it and not just because there was a tsb for my car.

You wouldn't happen to know the tsb number would you? Also what type of hesitation were you having? Mine seems to sometimes stutter between shifts and then it feels like it is getting an extra boost as gets into mid rpm range. Usually around 3500 if feels like it kicks in a bit more.
Thanks

I believe when you get to the upper rpms, the third valve opens up and there is more power, at least that what I have been told.
Now that I have installed the C&L CAI and teh tune, I'm getting the power from the get go.

06-tungsten, thanks for the link. That isn't what I am experiencing. BTW What are you doing posting a pic of my car??, yep I have the same color and rims.
Scuba, That might be it, but it started recently. I have a tune and CAI in it, didn't think they faded. Maybe I'll reload and see what happens. I think this is probably all tied to my recent loss of power. I have a post about that going.
Thanks
Randy
