Help! Whippled stang running dangerously lean!
#51
Whipple doesn't offer a warranty with the intercooled kits. I've seen a few on youtube that dyno high 400's hp and afr of 11.7, then there are many more that dyno low 400's with an afr of 10.5-10.8. Mine dynoed 404 with a 10.8afr, but that was at the tail pipe.

Ugh, thanks for bringing my noobiest noob thread back from the dead, lol. Yes, this was my introduction to air/fuel ratios, but I'm much better versed now. I've never been as "hands on" with a car as I have with this one.

What u goin with. What brands are offered for your car. I'm assuming most of the top brands offer superchargers for chargers. Plus your all wheel drive. That equals awsome

Procharger will even honor their warranty (due to cold weather) despite Vortech telling me to take a hike rofl
5.7 rods/crank are good for 650hp but the pistons being hypereutectic's can break their tops at any hp level. The tune has to be spot on and avoiding detonation at any possible cost!
Luckily, a lot of people are running 450-500whp for a long time without issues. They're also running Johan's (Diablotoona!) tunes
Did you get your Brenspeed 302 in yet?

Right now, it's either a Magnacharger @ 8psi for 450whp or a full top end kit with a Procharger @ 6 psi for 500-520whp
