Default question about rollbars for these cars

Is there such a thing as a friendly interior roll bar for the car.I am considering installing a roll bar system but i do not like how it kills back seat usage. Do they make one which works well with the interior lines and still lets you get in and out of the back and front with minimal difficultly???

There's more to "friendly interior" than ease of entry and exit. Unless you're going to insist that back seat passengers also wear helmets, any bar that's closer to heads than normal car roof structure is not "passenger-friendly" even if padded.

Mr Peterson is 100% correct. You cant use the back seat with a legal rollbar. The harness bar must be welded in for NHRA /IHRA and you cant sit wit a harness bar in your face.

i never run with a passenger...but this car is also a DD so when not at the track i want the interior to be functional. that one link i listed looked like the cross bar was a bolt in so i could be removable.

legal roll bar = no good use of the back seats. been looking for a year for a solution. just not possible IMO with current NHRA regs
