The only reason I'm considering a shelby is I'm going to put a built motor in this car I just don't know if I want 47k invested in a GT. Now a GT500 has a built motor and is capable of 700rwhp and I have the money in savings but I don't know if I want to run my account dry.

Americanspeed sounds like we are in the same boat with are cars I don't want to take a big hit either. I just got my bogarts too and they won't work on a 500.

kolbo2, I'm not so sure that the GT 500 rods are a whole lot better than what we have in our GT's. I'm thinking with the mods you have your probably kicking the crap out of stock GT 500's or slightly modified ones. I've thought about the GT 500 also, but decided for the money I'll drive the crap out of mine, and if I blow it up I'll put a Livernois built motor in and turn up the boost.

Someone come buy my car for 19000 so I can buy Kolb02's GT. Then he gets the Shelby and we're all happy.

lol they have some curb rash so you might wanna rethink that.

I like them a lot though. Next year I might buy another set to replace them. Only I'll get some 18x9 in front and 18x10 in back. If you still want my current ones even though they aren't perfect I would sell them to you for a smokin deal. Say $150 for all 4.

I'd say keep your car. It's unique, and its gotta be a bad *** ride from all those mods that you have listed.

I think I'm going to just order a motor for the stang on monday, and have fun with what I got. Phatphil your right I'm a lot faster than a 500 and I will be even faster with my new motor!
