Personally I rather have more lower end speed than top end because thats were it really counts and if i lose my license then I lost my job. Personally I think the 2004 is more aero than the 2005.

Here, people think that if they go 10 over the speed limit, they can just park themselves in the "passing lane". Now that's just wrong.

Interesting. I saw the speed skiers on 60 Minutes tonight and they also seem to be stuck around 150 mph due to drag. To get over it they are experimenting with body covers. The Steeda has the tail that extends the length, probably reducing drag?

I know of a guy at work who has a 2004 Mach 1 and he claims he has had it up to 150 mph going to work one day. He could be talking trash but its just my personal opinion that our top end isn't as fast because aero. However I know which one looks the best and I rather take off faster than worrying about catching a Mercedes on the autobahn. By the way I use to be stationed in Sogel, Germany(Its about 2 hours south of Bremen, Germany) in the eightys and I had a Ford Tanus, a German make and it topped out at 180 clicks and I thought I was in heaven . Now I can pass people up a mile high bridge doing that in a matter of seconds and gaining more before I let off..........boy how things have changed.
