Are there vin tags on all the body panels like my fox body has?

not sure about this but i want to say no. after looking over my current project i find a stamping every foot it seems like, but no matter where ive looked on my mustang i dont recall seeing any.

No tag per say, but the Ford logo stamping instead.
It's there to identify parts that are not OEM.

I remember on my 99 Trans Am the VIN was etched on every piece of glass, even the T-Tops. I thought that was nice in case someone stole your T-Tops.

The VIN on the S197 is only stamped in a couple of areas, not on every body panel.

those that you see in all the body panels are not vin #.those are parts #.

I may be wrong, but I remember my 88 having a vin on every body panel. I just wondered if the new Mustangs had the same.

I did check in my 08 gt and the# in the b. panels didnt match with the vin.

Ford stamping VINs on body panels?
I be a thinkin not.
Part #s, yes because they have a purpose.
But whats the purpose of VINs on the panels?
It would be a big ol waste of time and manpower.
Ford never did and never will.
Its pointless.
