ADJ. rear shocks.. They will make a noticable differance in planting that torque to the pavement. Not super expensive & a mod you can do yourself.

Next mod.. maybe underdrive pulley.
At this point you are starting to run out of little mods that give performance that is worth the money.

Have you ever thought about getting cams? They are AWESOME on these cars.
Give you that badass lope sound, the awesome shake that comes with it.. and if
you did a set of NSR cams like the Hot Rod Cams or Detroit Rockers, and added some long tubes, you would be looking at about a 40RWHP gain.
That is a good chunk of HP for the money. Plus they make the car FEEL faster and A LOT MEANER.

40rwhp is what we got with the Hot Rods and long tubes in our 06GT when we had it.
WE LOVED the cams. Made the car SO MUCH funner! I enjoyed them by far over any other mod we had and we had quite a few. I just can't say how fun the cams are to have!

As for traction.. Drag radials would work great but they are sometimes not a good idea for the daily driver that drives in the rain and cold. That can spell disaster.

I think you could go with some BETTER tires though perhaps. And maybe add some upper control arms and see how they help since you have lowers already.

hey blacksmoke.

Your kinda exactly on the money with where I was thinking of going. Ive been looking a lot at the detroit rocker cams. I thought the cams would be a nice complement to the 4.10's. I had a 350z years ago and put the pulleys on the car and felt like they were such a waste of money on the car. Id rather save for a bigger mod like the cams. Are they really that fun? cause that's what i want this car to be all about.

Now that you have the deeper rear gears, you should have also gotten an upgraded diff, like a Trutrac or Detroit Locker. (I am very partial to the Detroit Locker. I love the sound of the outboard wheel unlocking and you hearing it as you make a turn)

It amazes me how everyone is just interested in making power rather than putting power to the ground....You can have all the power/torque the 4.6 can handle but its useless if all you do is spin the tires. I still say the ADJ.Rear Shocks will be in your best intrest. The feel of torque being planted to the pavement will put a big smile on your face! After all the mods I did to my 06GT I got really happy with the car once I did the suspension work. Before suspension it was just a car that could melt tires. The 05-09 platform has alot to be desired in its suspension which is why the 300bhp motor is more than enough for it the way it sits.... So why keep adding power? PUT THE POWER TO THE PAVEMENT MAN YOU WONT BE UPSET.

I can honestly say I was a bit dissappointed with the power when I first got my car. So the modding began. I can honestly say that I now have the horses that I want. And when I really want to feel the power. I put on the slicks and head to the track. A good set of lca's and slicks makes a difference. But on the street u cant put the power to the pavement b/c thats all you do is spin. But u can still have fun with the extra power. I can understand why people want more power and there goals maybe different that yours. Plus everyone has there opinion about the next best mod. I think a torque convertor for the auto's is the next best thing next to a supercharger.
