I personally chose the brembos for the rims. If you get the track pack its $1500. i decent set of rims and tires is easily $1000.00 and then you get the added bonus of the brembos which as you said aren't the best but a definite improvement over stock and you get it from the factory. so it's really not a bad deal from ford

A big plus for track pack is the rims, they look alot better!
Update to this posting. Im getting neither gt nor boss 302!!!!!!
Long story I got a 2008 infiniti g37s coupe. Not a mustang but since it was given to me to pay off a debt, I will mod it and track it.
Thanks to all for helping me in this search but life takes strange turns!!!!
I will be back searching in about 6 months to a year for a used boss!!

I tried to test drive a Roush S2 with the recaros. We didn't make it out of the lot. I'm not skinny anymore and I carry a firearm. Those seats were not happening.
I was in the same situation as you. GT or Boss or Roush. In the end I decided the boss and the roush were not enough car for the money and part of the fun of the mustang is customizing it to your liking. So I didn't want an 'already done' car.
Got a '13 Black GT Premium + Track package + Electronics package and had the dealer install the FRPP Handling Pack. I bought it last Monday and still haven't seen it. It's a pretty rare combination I wanted and the only one in the state was ~250 miles away so they had to go get it. Spent the rest of the week in Vegas and the dealership is closed today. I'll pick it up tomorrow.

The recaros made me feel like I was in an airplane squisehd between 2 heavy people lol, no fun. Yes modding is part of the fun! Track pack plus handling pack that thing will be awesome! Take some pics once you get it UberDuper!!!

Pretty rare combo as you said. Dealer could find nothing with the track pack + electronics pack.
