I guess that depends on the person. To me I would pick the 11+GT over the 07 GT500 everytime because of looks. I can make the GT just as powerful as the GT500 and sure be cool to say you have a GT500 but I personally do not like the body of the 05-09 cars sorry so i couldn't own one of them.

I looked at the GT500 but ended up buying a new '12 GT. The '12 felt lighter, tighter, I just liked it better.

My daily driver is a 2011 GT, full exhaust and intake.
422 horse to the wheels.
Not too shabby.

My 2008 GT 500 is bone stock.
It will CRUSH my GT in every instance, with one exception.
It does NOT have the glass roof like my GT does.

Thanks for the compliments guys. This car came after lots of prayer and shopping around. I like to research quite a bit before I buy. In the end I ended up with a car far nicer than anything I've had or deserve. Another plus is my wife can drive this one comfortably and looks good doing it too. So even if I'm not behind the wheel it's still enjoyable. She pretty much hated my '03. I have two boys that are 5&8. Obviously they think it's the greatest thing ever!

As far as modding goes Lifter, absolutely! The stock exhaust is killing me.

Interesting.

I just un-garaged my car, washed it a little and took it out yesterday. An '11+ passed me in the HOV lane and the passenger was hanging out the window checking-out the car.

Exterior appearances include chin spoiler, gt500 deck spoiler, lowered suspension, tinted windows, 1/4 window louvre cover thingies. Very aggressive looking which I haven't yet seen in the new model.

Everyone is different, I understand.

But, to stay on topic, congrats on the new GTCS, it looks nice.
