Default Hood strut messed alignment!!??

I have a cervini Eleanor hood and I replaced my nxt generation hood struts today with the cervini specific hood struts. I did this because my old hood struts barely held up my hood.
When finished, I closed the hood and the Fuken thing was way outta Wack and alignment was terrible. Has anyone else had problems with hood struts throwing their hood out of alignment? If so, what did you do to fix it?
My hood looked perfect before today, and now I'm stressing out about my hood.

Dunno Bro. I've put Redline Tuning hood struts on a bunch of cars and never had a problem with any of them.

I had this happen to me with a stock hood.

Shot emails back and fourth with the company for days, sending pictures of how I installed things (its not like its rocket science), and they told me my car was messed up, and there wasn't anything to do.

As much as I would of liked to burn them, I ate a 20% restocking fee and sent them back.

If the struts are to strong, they will warp the fiberglass hood when closed. How do they feel compared to the old ? Is there any adjustment? Disconnect the struts and see how the hood lines up.

I fixed it! It was the brackets that was rubbing against my windshield cowl and my fenders that was preventing the hood from fully closing! I replaced them with my old nxt generation brackets and just used the heavier duty struts and everything now lines up!
Cervinis got my photos and I think the recognized how Fuked up everything was. They didn't even argue and they are giving me 100 dollars back for the brackets.
Now my hood will stay up with ease and still lines up....I can't wait for shows now that I can show off my engine without having the hood fall down!
