Diablosport InTune vs. SF3/X3 (Data Logging)
I plan on purchasing one of these tuners from American Muscle w/ the free tunes for life from BAMA. I already have a Roush CAI and UDPs waiting to install. I also plan on installing a set of Kooks LT headers with a catted X this year. Down the road, I am also considering FRPP Hot Rod cams along with Steeda CMDPs. That will likely complete my list of mods that would require a tune.
With those mods, would it be beneficial to go with the SF3/X3 that is better suited for data logging (has the ability to data log AFR and Knock for example)? The reason I ask is because I had my eye on the new Diablosport InTune now that AM has it available with their BAMA tunes. One of the main reasons being is it seems a little more Mac friendly with the drag and drop of tunes to the device. However, I gather that this device is not as well suited for data logging... at least at the current time.
That said, I don't even know if data logging is really that important. You don't read a whole lot about people doing it, and it could very well be something I'd never even do. With the SF3/X3, I'd have to somehow get my hands on a Windows based laptop to do it. So with the mods I have planned along with BAMA tunes, perhaps worrying about the better data logging device isn't necessary... thoughts? I'd appreciate any feedback.

If you already have a Mac, the inTune may be better for you at this time. As far as the Datalogging goes, you can still do it on the inTune it just doesn't move as quickly (Frames per second) as the SF3.
You really can't go wrong with either of these devices. Way out the features of both devices in your head and figure out what best fits you! Let me know if I can be of any further assistance. Our Bama Performance tuning specialists are here in the building Monday-Friday from 9AM-5:30PM EST and Saturday 9AM-5:30PM EST. You can hit them up directly at 888.226.9764 and they'll get you squared away!
We really appreciate your business and loyalty!
