How long do GT S197's last?

It's been 35 years since I've had a car with hood pins. 1970 Mach 1 with a 351 Windsor

Has anyone had the cable scratch the hood paint? If they're fake I'd delete em. If they are real why not just go without cables and carry some extras incase punks snitched.

Question: would those fake hood pins pass a tech-inspection at a drag strip?

Hair dryer will take that GT 300 stripe off. No such variant existed.

It sure is pretty, one day I'll finish my 2013 and get another 05-09 just because!

Sold my 06 GT with 70,000 plus Kms on it. Had to change an alternator on warranty during 2nd week we had it and had leaky frost plugs so thats about it.
