Help Me Pick Some Axle-Backs PLEASE.
#23
I'm 78 years young and I put some axle backs on my 2011 GT, bought them through Brenspeed and they were made by Borla for Steeda. The type are the touring mufflers. They are the best sounding I have found yet. Standing behind it, they are a little loud but mellow. I can barely hear them in the car unless you stand on it.
They remind me of the big glasspacks I used on my flatheads years ago.
I'm not sure if they are still available but I know you will like them from what you said on your post. they set me back about $650. All stainless steel

Her dad once had a '51 Ford Convertible, warmed up 239 flathead, 3spd wOD, twins with Smittys glasspacks ..... cool!
She is so in love!
I've listened to Borlas, they are very refined sounding .... not just "noisy".
