2007 mustang gt headers question
I have a stock mustang gt with only magnaflow axle backs I want to do a full exhaust on it...ive been looking at bbk and other companies... what would be a good choice... im new to the mustang world so bare with me.. use to own a diesel.. would bbks long tube headers and shorty o/r xpipe be a good choice?... also gonna use jlts intake and sct tuner if that matters

Read this thread about the exact same question. Hope it helps!

Being on the Gulf coast, I'd go with something in 304 stainless, might be a bit more but mild steel will rust.
~Cheers!
edit: Forgot to mention, like the thread referenced says, BBK are not equal length so the gains are less. For that amount spent on BBK, I'd suggest Pypes in 304 stainless. You get a clone of Kooks, 304 stainless, and equal length tubes.

My Pypes fit perfectly too. 3.5 years later they are performing perfectly. Go with an H pipe over an X. X is very raspy. Install will take a weekend but it earns you a man card for sure. Gloves and an 13mm flexhead racheting box wrench are a must.

i have read about plenty of people saying they had to fab their pypes exhaust. i was going to get a full pypes exhaust until i heard about this.. I took an old car of mine to have a catted x swapped out at a muffler shop in my area and the first thing they said was "i hope its not pypes, we cant get any of their stuff to line up correctly".
While not everybody has a problem i wouldnt take a chance. Alot of people on here have complained about it. either way im glad you 2 didnt have an issue with them
