If you are thinking about the muffler delete style axle backs, I would recommend that you remove you mufflers and run the car that way for about a week. It wont cost you anything and you will be able to tell if its too loud or the loudness you want. The different systems will alter the tone a little but they wont be too far off from the way it will sound.
