2006 gt auto, before mods were: headers & full exhaust without cats, 3.73 gears, and a cold air intake. i had the car dyno'd before i put the air intake on, this was when i done the exhaust. i believe it put down around 285rwhp. i didnt have the car retuned after i put the air intake on, and had an engine light running lean.. the best time was a 13.5xx @102mph.

I just had ***** thumpr cams and 4.10 gears put on, and retuned the car and it now puts down 320rwhp and 325rwtq. The spare tire/jack is removed, and so is the carpet/wood that covers the tire well.

12s possible? I thought 12s were possible before cams, but I guess not.. must just be stick cars.

Yeah, I'm in the 12's with the stock cams AND stock exhaust in a stick shift car, so I'm sure your car will also be capable of 12's. The only thing is that your Muthr Thumpr cams will have shifted the powerband to higher rpm so you'd probably need a higher rpm stall converter to get you there quicker.

My 06 GT auto before the blower, I had 4.10s, cams, longtubes, no cats, cai, tune and sticky tires....best I could do was 13.13@106 mph. That was with a DA around 1200+. In good air 12s are very possible. Problem with an auto is you cannot launch hard. YOur best time will be when the motor is cool and launching off idle. Adding any rpm will cause the torque convertor to flash lower and slowing your car down. Your next option is to lose weight. Take everything not needed out of the car.
