Default Found new squeak: driver's seat, upper seat back

Isolated a new squeak to my driver's seat of my 2006 GT. Sounds like a squeaky bed. It is coming from the upper portion of the seat, where my spine would be, about half way up. Squeak happens when I lean backwards. When I push on the seat back, dead center with the palm of my hand, I can reproduce it. Perhaps at or above the lumbar support area.

Anyone else experience this? Is it possible to remove or get under the leather seat cover to investigate?

Yeah my 05 V6 had a squeaky seat too. Sounds exactly how a spring mattress would squeak. If you can somehow get a can of WD40 to it, that would be my best bet, but I had my 05 for about 9 years, and it never bothered me enough to repair/swap the seat.

it squeaks whenever i accelerate aggressively, because I'm thrown back into the seat right where it is triggered lol

Looking at this video on upholstery install, at about 10:15 I can see the backside of the seat with the foam removed. I do not see any springs or moving parts. I cannot tell what it might be that's making the noise. The only thing there is what I am guessing is the lumbar support mechanism, but that looks to be lower than where my squeak is coming from.
