Default Ebay HIDs

Hey guys, I was looking into getting HIDs on my car in addition to some power mods, like hot rod cams and the ford racing intake manifold.
Back to the HIDs, does anyone have experience using ebay HIDs? and if so, how long do they last? The ones I saw have a two year warranty, and they're only 30 bucks for headlights and 30 bucks for fogs.
Comparing these to name brand lights which are 5 times the price, would anyone say I would have any luck with these?
Thanks a bunch

Default Ebay HIDs

I have read a number of negative stories about HIDs from Ebay. I hear some people say all HID retrofit kits are bad. I have to throw the BS flag on that. I have a kit I bought from RetroSolutions. I have had them installed for many years and over 100K miles without a single issue. I honestly believe the kits from RetroSolutions to be the highest quality kits you can buy. I suggest you check into them. I love mine.

Mine are the BiLevel (Hi/Lo), I believe they are 6000K (white with just a tinge of blue), 35 Watt, I think it's called the Digital kit.

By the way, look at your present headlights. If you have a black cap over the bulb, you do not need the bulb capping option. If you do not have this cap, get the option. This keeps you from blinding on coming drivers. I didn't need it on mine.

Soldier, I like the DDM tuning kits, how easy is the install? Was looking for budget mods for the most part, so I didn't want to spend a lot on HIDs if there were good, cheap ones out there.

This.

Also...Confucius say, "Buy HID lights off eBay...get 'HID' lights off eBay."
