What should I swap to?
Well I hate to say it but I'm pretty positive (and I've been told) I'm gonna need a new motor I'm sad but also happy about this, the part I'm happy about is getting to really set my stang apart from others but I don't know what swap to, I've thought about a V10 motor from an F250 also a 5.4L, maybe a built 4.6, I'd love to swap a 2JZ but that'd be a **** ton of work!!! Then I also thought an LS1 motor (what's the difference between an LS1 and an LT1?) or a WS6 motor, there's so many to pick from, I also want to spend about as little money as possible, (which who doesn't?) I'm leaning toward the V10 because I think all wiring harnesses etc will just hook right up, but also will I need a new tranny for something like this? If I swap a ford motor with a ford motor can I keep my same tranny?
Thanks,
Steve

Dont even waste the money/time/headache dropping a triton v10 in. And no the wirring wont just plug in, you have 2 extra cylinders which means 2 extra COPS, 2 extra fuel injectors, a tune, etc etc. Its not worth the money to power ratio. A 2jz swap is just (pardon my language) homo. A ls motor is definatly a stout platform. A 5.4 2v is also a waste of cash. Honestly your BEST bet would be instead of wasting money swappin in a motor like these get a BUILT shortblock (aka forged out) refresh heads with a nice set of cams, then a supercharger. if your hell bent on getting rid of the 2v, go with a 4v swap. With the amount of money its gonna cost to swap these motors in you can find an entire used 03-04 cobra drivetrain turnkey for the most part, cheaper and more power, along with a ton less headache.
