I think it's a great idea. If I ever need to travel somewhere, I'd be more than willing to hit this offer up. With all the new concepts of the 'stangs next competition popping up, I like to see power stressed and Mustangs publicized.

hell id rent one just to beat on and mess around with...just gotta remember to get the extra insurance!
theres lots of 05 rentals but not GTs let alone Shelbys

The will never have any so what is the point? I used to always rent from Hertz as I wanted to stay true to the Blue Oval but it seems like everytime I needed (or wanted rather) a 'Stang on vacation, they were out, or expecting some back, etc... even though I reserved one (or similiar type as they say) and it was the whole reason I was using them in the first place.

So now they are renting Shelbys...great more 'Stangs I can't get from Hertz.

I wouldn't buy one though-- can you imagine how many people are gonna rent those and act like an idiot behind the wheel. I mean, I wouldn't buy a used car that I knew someone has been raggin on all the time.

But, it'd be cool to rent one for sure.

When the '05 'Stang first came out, I rented one in Florida from Hertz.
Better believe I'll be renting one of these babies right away, too! "C"
