Default PRICES!!!

Hey guys. I just saw a 2008 Mustang GT advertised for $18,995 on the following website:

http://getbehindthewheel.blogspot.com/

Is this too good to be true? Should I trade in my stang and take advantage of this? I am financing my 2006 Mustang GT for $535/month for 72 months. The MSRP for my stang was around $30,000 when I got it in Spring of 2006. It has a manual transmission, and it has 34,000 miles on it. I did put some work into it, but nothing major. The MSRP for my stang was around $30,000 when I got it in Spring of 2006. The reason for this is to save money. After buying the car, 6 months later I got stuck with an $11,000 medical bill.

Now I have been known to make impetuous decisions which is why I am asking you guys for advice. Thanks!

first call the dealership and see if this is true.

Then, if they are knocking of 7 or 8 K off the new car, won't they also lower the value of your trade in?

and anything that sounds to good to be true, usually is.

Default Good point, but...

That's a good point. I would love a definitive answer to that one. The economy is so bad that a dealership by me has a "buy one get one free" incentive. I am not sure what manufacturer or dealership it was, but they must he hurtin to get rid of excess supply, and no demand.

Wow - 535 a month for 72 months? 30K MSRP? Sorry, but MSRP has never been 30K on the 05+ models. Not trying to sound like an azz, but your dealership took you on a ride man. If its the same dealership - they'll probably hammer you on the trade in as well.

If its an 08 model, then its probably one of the last ones they have on the lot and they just need to push it out the door. It never hurts to go see it and see what the deal is - maybe it has a weird color combo like Grabber Orange outside and Red leather seats? LOL.

Your 06 should bring around 13-15 in trade though.....should being the operative word.
