Your such a nay-sayer about the 2011 GT.
Similar price of the competition, similar power output, better fuel economy, lower curb weight. I have a feeling the Mustang will be here for a good long time.

You of all people should know better. The sixxer has always been the money maker for Ford, and the fantastic new drivetrain delivered at very little price hike will ensure that it continues to sell well. On top of that, people have been paying over 30K for S197 GT's since they first hit the market in 04........either in loaded option packages or via dealership markups. I can promise you that people will be even more willing to overlook the pricetag when they see "412hp 5.0" in the brochure. Sure, you're paying more........but, you're getting more too.

But.....I AM guessing that that's why you said you would only bet a dollar.

Notice the difference between the 2 automatics. Especially considering the Camaro auto runs 0-60 faster than the manual. This GT will be a high 12 second car (corrected times).

$40k for a GT and Vortech Supercharger = 600hp, 11 second daily driver! I'm in!
