well under another name it could work as long as it has alot of style and the mustang 5.0 available in awd would be kool so you still get that american muscle sound. the picks for the australian version ford falcon would be a cool car that concept. a family car that can still perform as close to possible as a stang but with the convienience of a select track awd system would be the right way to go for the family man. thats something that can hang with the charger. b/c the taurus actually comes out more expensive than the charger for almost the same power. then if you start going aftermarket with turbo upgrades etc. vs supercharged mds v8 and the charger i believe weighs less than the taurus, the charger will blow the doors off a taurus. taurus sho is a nice family sedan for the guy who wants the passing power on the highway and bad weather but for the guy who wants to tear up the tarmac and have that muscle car sound and feeling charger has it beat. I've test driven both so i can tell you from experience. so we need mustang sound and performance to come out of ford for the family guy

I think the mustang should stay RWD if Ford wants to do an AWD vehicle it probably should be a Focus or maybe like the feista rally car keep the mustang RWD. Also I am no green peace dude but as a person that has a AWD turbo Subaru. the amount of weight and gas needed to power something like that would be crazy. right now i get since I took all of my mods off is about 24/17 highway/ street now imagine what that would be with a v6 or even a V8

Another option would be to bring the Falcon up from Aussie-land, seeing as will be sharing the same drive-train as the Mustang. Apparently after it gets a remodel/platform switch in 2015 it will most likely go AWD. I just hope that like I said before it's a 30/70 system.
