Are you a Ford Mustang owner with too much tread on your tires? Has Dodge got you spooked with this Demon business? A Ford dealer in Ohio has your solution; for only $45,000, you can get a new Mustang with more power than a Bugatti Veyron.

Can the IRS handle that much power? Do they replace it with a solid?

Well, that kinda answers my question....
Lebanon Ford says that the Hellion Turbo system can generate up to 1200 rear-wheel horsepower by adjusting the boost. However, it looks to be that the $50,000 upgrade will only allow the driveshaft to withstand up to 800 HP. Therefore, if you want a Mustang that can smoke a Bugatti Veyron you will probably have to spend quite a bit more to ensure your car doesn’t disintegrate with all that power.
But holy crap-cakes at that 9.57 1/4 run

Seriously? ? Why not tack on another grand or so for a stronger drive shaft?

Yea, it's very weird that they don't replace the driveshaft with a stronger one and just charge a bit more to cover it. I think it's a bit irresponsible of this dealer to offer a 1200hp package that will literally destroy your car if you have your tune set to use all 1200hp. I mean, I understand there are risks with everything, but when the driveshaft can't take the mod you're offering for a customer, offer a package (at additional cost) that can take it.

From what I understand, they make it with 5 lbs. of boost and around 600 HP. If you want to upgrade it to the 1200, they will do that if you want to buy the extras to do that. Most gearheads would probably rather do that themselves and use the parts they like and are comfortable with.
