the specs on the monte are a l67 swap (supercharged 3.8 motor) with a Flowmaster cat back with 3 inch piping

I don't think the monte is that fast... he won because he kept jumping it.

Needs a new pulley..

its pretty quick for stock motor with just a cat-back. his best run is 14.1 with a so so 60fter, sure its not fast, but it definately respectable for what it is. he wants to get an offroad downpipe and get a 3.4 pulley on there, then it should be a lot quicker

I shoulda edited that last night. by "that fast" I meant as fast down the 1/4 as the Stang.

JDP, did you just put in a '90 HO long block or convert her to mass air while you were at it?

well i bought the car off my friends dad, who the original owner was my friends uncle. he said that the motor has the specs of a 90 mustang, but all the wiring is still of an 86, so no mass air flow [:@]. as offroad downpipe, yes, on his car the downpipe from the exhaust is connected to the cat. so he wants to get an 3 inch downpipe that eliminates the cat
