Switched to the Steeda Intake from the JLT!
Switched to Steeda CAI from the JLT! The JLT wasn't bad, but the Steeda is a better unit. Better heat shield, uses factory air ducting, and looks better IMO. What do you guys think??

Yeah the Steeda looks better, and by the sound of things, the air coming into your TB should be slightly cooler, although the heat shielding is metal, so IDK about that? I do have one or two questions though.
Any difference in diameter between the new Steeda tube, and your previous JLT tube?
Also, is your new Steeda billet or cast aluminum? I was recently on a thread about a guy whos car kept shutting down on the highway and wouldn't idle correctly and such, because his Steeda CAI was billet and someone at AM got him tunes for the cast aluminum one?
I like your videos on YT BTW.

Thanks guys! I'm running Bama tunes on my car and love them.
And to my understanding, the dia of the steeda is a little smaller than the JLT, but it's not really an issue because i'm FAR from maxing out the MAF sensor lol.

is it a 6 speed or auto trans? i put the lund tune on mine and the car picked up a whole second in the 1/4

mine is a manual. both the manual and auto are 6 speeds...
and the tune I got from lund was good and ran well, just the bama one made 15 more whp on the same dyno in worse conditions, ran faster at the track by 3 full mph, and cost less...

It depends on when you purchased your intake in regards to whether you have a cast or billet aluminum housing. We also made a change in size this year to simplify our inventory.
