I have decided to sell my baby.. I love this car and really don’t want to sell it but unfortunatly i need a new DD and I dont really drive this car anymore..

The car has 113xxx miles on it. I bought it a little over 4 years ago with 78k bone stock. I changed the 85mph speedo to a 140mph one from a different 89 GT. The difference in the mileage when installed was 42k and I have pictures to prove it. That mileage has always been added on whenever it went for inspection so the mileage is correct.

The car is very reliable and I have never had any issues with the car. Plus it can still get 22mph on the highway on cruise at 65mph.

Here is the list of modifications I have done to the car. All motor work probably has about 10k on it and was done Spring of 2008.

Motor:
• GT40X Aluminum Heads
- Fel-Pro Performance Z10112 gaskets
- ARP Head Bolts
• 1.6 Pedestal Roller Rockers
• FRPP F303 Cam
• Trickflow Track Heat Intake
- Fel-Pro 1262 Gaskets
• Accufab 70mm Throttle Body and Spacer
• Pro-M MAF
• 24# Injectors
• Walboro 190LPH Fuel Pump
• FRPP 9mm Wires
• Optima Red Top Battery
• Under Drive Pulleys
• 180* Thermostat
• A/C and Smog have been deleted with short belt (still have them)
• Replaced Water Pump (3 years old)
• Replaced Oil Pump and Hardened Shaft (1 year old)
• Replaced Oil Pan (1 year old)
• Stock Air box and tube (takes air from fender, didn’t see the need for a CAI)
• All Sensors and Sending Units have been replaced

Exhaust:
• BBK Unequal Shorty Headers
• BBK Off Road H-Pipe (no cats)
• MAC Mufflers
• New O2 Sensors

Drivetrain:
• Ram Clutch (about a year old)
• Stock T-5 Manual Trans w/ fresh ATF and New Tail Shaft seal
• FRPP 3.73s with new clutch packs in Trac-Loc and correct speedo gear
• Short Throw Shifter

Suspension/Steering
• Strange 10-way Shocks and Struts
• Eibach Springs (blue)
• Granatelli Upper and Lower Control Arms
• Kenny Brown Sub-Frame Connectors (welded)
• Replaced Steering Rack (Quick Ratio) (1 year old)
• Replaced Inner and Outer Tie Rods (1 year old)
• New Power Steering Pump
• Replaced High Pressure Power Steering Hose (1 year old)


Wheels:
• (4) Silver 17x9 Cobra R’s
• Yokohama S.Drive Tires
• 245/45/17 Front and 275/40/17 Rear (1 year old with like new tread)

Body:
• Fiberglass 2.5” Mach 1 hood (still has white gel coat from abc exclusive)
• New 6pc Headlights w/ clear corners (Stock Style)
• 5000k Hids (just a plug in kit and can be reverted to stock easily. No cut wires)
• New Fog light lenses and housings
• Saleen Spoiler
• Factory Sun Roof
• The Paint is not the greatest (top is faded)
• 86 Tail Lights Striped like an 85 SVO
• Hatch doesn’t have rust but is slightly warped

Interior:
• Gray/Black Interior
• Auto Meter Oil Pressure and Water Temp Gages on A-Pillar
• Black Hatch Carpet

Extras:
• (4) Stock 15x7 turbines w/ good tires
• (2) 17x9 Chrome Cobra R’s w/ Nitto 555R Drag Radials 275/40/17

The car made 275rwhp and 300ftlbs with an Explorer GT40 intake. Since then I installed the Trickflow Track Heat and it definitely pulls a lot harder. I have only brought it to the track twice just to see how it would do, once when it was stock then after the mods.

Stock it ran 14.01 @ 98mph (w/ the 3.73s)
After it ran 13.024 @ 105.8mph (could go high 12s with better 60’ times)

It is a great car and I’m not trying to hide anything. I’m just trying to be as upfront as I can. The oil has always been changed every 3000 miles since I have owned it w/ Castrol GTX 10w-40 and Motor Craft Filters. I have always garaged it during the winters. There is some light rust on the rear fender lips and a small patch under the passenger side floor pan. The Shock Towers are rust free!
