Alright well here is the story... Well from a little while back... Posted on stang net as well... But someone tole me to come to these forums instead.. and i know a few of you are from probe talk... im 96gtze

My story:

Info i posted on probe talk about the car:
200k 95 gt 5 speed mach 460 black leather paid $3900 and its very clean probe sold for $3500:

The owner was a woman in her 50's she was a teacher in north NJ and i bought it from south NJ... She had like a 120 mile round trip to work and home... So the milage is all highway... She owned it for 10 years... and took great care of it... always garage kept never driven in the snow... detailed like once a month....The title that they gave me for it had 18,107 on it... they bought it from someone that leased it for a year... But the car pulls hard... scared my self a few times... Came out of the car wash and got on it and the thing decided to go all squirley on me... Clutch catchs a little high for my liking... so gonna fix that... lol and i havent had the ***** to take it past 80 yet.... lol
But other wise i think it is a good car... Next thing im doing is a cat back... Then intake and Mani, H pipe, Headers, gears... 373's probally.. And i think ill leave it there and work a 5.0 on the side with a set of trick flow heads... just incase this one decided it wants to go...

Alright well i have had a few problems... Grinding on turns when accelling, chirping when shifting gears at high RPMS (squeeling like sound)... And some ping under hard accel... Im buying plugs n wires and tunning up a little better... 200k not really sure whats been done...

For thoes who are intrested Pics of the car...

Probe gt KLZE will be missed (14.8 @91.8 2.109 60')

Welcome to the forums man. sounds like you got a nice score. post your tech questions in the general tech section or in the 5.0 section. the detonation your hearing under the hood is most likely from your timing or not running high enough octane gas. set your timing around 14* if you are going to be running 93 octane. stock timing for 5.0's is 10* so check that out and see if that takes care of the pinging you hear. Hope you enjoy Mustang Forums.

what kind of grinding are you talking about? is it coming from the front or rear of the car. is it more of a tire rubbing or like a clunking noise from your rear end. how fast are you going when it does this?

i dont know how to explain it i thought it was my trany starting to go... But it only hapens everyonce in awhile its like a scrapping grinding sound... usually only happens when i give it gas while turning in 1st or 2nd gear (0-30 MPH).... will hapen everyonce in awhile while im going strait... its definatly towards the rear of the car... i was thinking clutch packs in the rear diff.... but i power breaked the hell out of it today... both tires smoking up fine... so i really dont know what it could be... if i put the car in to 1st and slowly let off on the clutch a little i start to hear a squeeking noise... but i think thats just my throwout bearing getting old... got a ford racing clutch n TB that im gonna try to put in it soon... Mods have to start getting slapped on... Damn slow *** heavy Verts... i really wish i didnt have one... would of rather of gotten a coupe or even another fox body... I hate having a mustang GT slower then my Probe GT....
