I have a 2004 GTO that I am thinking about selling to get a 2010 Mustang 3 valve manual. I like the mustang because its lighter and a myriad of other reasons, I can get sync, and mods are cheaper etc. How hard are these cars to launch? Will I be able to turn high 11's NA with Bolt -on's, cams, gear, and tires? That’s my goal. I am also interested in the hellion turbo system for these cars, has anyone used these for a normal GT and gotten into the 11's? Hey thanks in advance for helping out a newbie.
I'm not sure about the 11s with just bolt-ons, but launching doesn't seem hard to me. I would actually hold out and get a 2011 5.0L. I'm fairly certain they run 13s completely stock.

Well I'm here to clean up any uncertainty that you may have. A stock 11 GT can run high 12's (maybe even mid 12's with a decent driver)..The stock V-6 runs 13's...
