1969 Mustang Inspection - Long Island, NY?
Hello everyone. I'm a new member to the forum and am currently in the process of buying my first mustang, a 1969 Mach 1.
I am getting ready to employ an inspector in that area to take a look at the car first, as I'm looking from out of state (Florida). You'd think that there would be lots to choose from in my area, but there really isn't.
Anyhow, does anyone know of a reputable inspection agency that I could use in the area, or better yet, is there anyone on the forum that lives close that would mind taking a look? Case of beer or top shelf of his/her choice as payment!!
Any help you all could provide, would be greatly appreciated. I'm looking forward to my first purchase, and have already run into some pretty interesting issues with other cars while doing my due diligence.
Thanks!

Thanks for the responses guys. As an FYI, I had posted a message over in the Vintage Mustang Forums as well, where someone had recommended a guy named Perry at Perry's Pony Express on Long Island.
Long story short, Perry warned me of the Auto Museum in Holbrook, as the owner apparently had been involved in some kind of classic car scandal a few years back. Seems like he's still up to no good, as I offered to show up with cash to buy the car, and he refused, stating that he didn't do business that way? He only wanted the money wired Western Union.
So, beware the Auto Museum in Holbrook. And thanks to Perry for saving me a big headache and lots of money!
