New and not familiar
Hopefully I have put this in the correct spot. I am completely new to mustangs and v8's for that matter. I come from the DSM game, however I have always wanted to do a father son project and that leads me here. He has always had a strong liking for the fox bodys and so have I. I am parting out my DSM as we speak and going to start looking for a fox body. My main question and I'm sure it's been beaten to death, is how easy is it to achieve 400whp? If there are certain threads already pertaining to this then please direct me in their direction. I will probably lead towards a turbo set up since I am familiar with them and tuning, which I know will get me to 400whp. Any thoughts on superchargers, or even an all engine build? I will be looking for a 90-92. Any type of information will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks.
Thanks.

Welcome to MF. Sounds like a good project. Here's the link to the '79-'95 tech section.

Thank you for the link to the correct section.
I figured looking for 400whp wasn't all that difficult, but if I wanted to do all motor I dont know where to begin. I'm all about forced induction, however would not exclude an all engine build either. In my 90 awd DSM I was pushing roughly 450awhp, so I would like to get something comparable once I do find a mustang.

Welcome to the forums, and if there is anything I can help out with just let me know. Take a look at our web site. We have just about anything for a fox body.
