Smile Hopefully very soon.....

Hello all,
I am not as of yet a Mustang owner, but have always been a Ford guy.
I do have the opportunity to purchase a '96 loaded silver GT from a close friend. He inherited it from his father who recently passed, but does not want it. I have always loved these cars. My brother bought a new '90 and let me drive it for a day. I was hooked and new someday I would have one of my own. I am not rich. Cant afford a new car much less multiple cars. This to me is a deal 20 years in the making. I have not even driven or seen the car in person. Only pictures and its condition from a trusted friend and co-worker. It is a 5 speed manual. I so much miss a manual. This is my mid life (I am 50) crises dream car. Just have to wait a month or so for funds to purchase it. I will post pics when I figure that out. Not thrilled about a black interior but that is not a deal breaker.
I wont run on with this post. Just wanted to introduce myself and hope to become an official member soon!

A few photos my friend took.
I do have a nice Powerdyne BD-11A supercharger I am running on my 5.0 Explorer that would work quite nice on this car. Really, who needs a blown SUV? But I would have to get the brackets to mount it. So I have alot of research to do.
Now if I just had the car......

Well as always, I changed my mind.
I figured if Im going to have a mid life crises I should set my goals higher.
So now I am looking at an '03 Cobra. I texted the owner wanting more info but it is 4am here so what was I thinking? The car is about 130 miles away in Seattle but it is a nice drive and my wife has never experienced the downtown area. Alot to see and do.
Of course this car is considerably more then the '96GT, but I love the color and really have no need to do any major upgrades. I think this will be plenty for an old fart like me.
Anyway a couple pics from the ad.....
Just hope its still for sale
