The 460 is definitely NOT the way to go. Unless you need to be completely different, which isn't bad, or you enjoy getting 12 mpg. OK, maybe 15 mpg in a mustang. There are much easier and cheaper ways to increase performance, if that's what your looking for.
I'm with orangepeel on this one. I think I would go a different route than going with the Lincoln power plant. Now if you had an old coupe or truck that 460 would rock.
If your building a drag car. Big motors make big power. Any other application is just silly. The extra weight over the front of the car will destroy handling. For Daily driving you'll get 8 miles to the gallon. And finally itll be expensive to do the swap.
