Hello I just joined here. Not new to ford or mustangs. I have a few and have owned many. Just saying hi and posting up one of my rides (not for the purest ) Just built it ..well because I could! Had the parts laying around so put this together.

Thanks for the welcome every one. I had a lot of parts that I picked up over the years from salvage yards and swap meets. So built this engine but had nothing to put it in. Then I found this 71 a few years ago. It was decent but the kid that had it put it into reverse at about 70 MPH. Toasted everything so I picked it up for 1500.00 The engine is a 1969 429 Thunder Jet. It now has 11.7 to 1 compression 270/280 split duration cam with off set timing chain and gears a weiand tunnel ram with twin 650 holleys. A heavy duty C6 auto and a 9 inch with 371 gears 31 spline axels. I had to put the big scoop on to cover the carbs. They only clear by about 2 inches. This thing is real impressive. I built it to race but it has never been down a track. But it gets a lot of attention when I take it out.
