Default A little late to the party...

Hey y'all-
I've owned my '96 GT since 2000 and this is my first forum. I came here looking to verify the production stats on my beloved car so that I can sadly sell it. I bought it when my oldest son was 6 months old and listened to everyone wonder how on earth I planned to get him in and out of a 2 door car forever, pretty much up until I bought a 4-door 8 years later. I've saved the car this whole time for him only to find out he's the only 16 year old in the free world who has no desire to get his driver's license or to drive the car-- there's no accounting for taste, I guess =)
Anyway, mine's a 1996 GT, 4.6L SOHC EFI V-8 215hp, Deep Violet 5 speed, still in pretty good shape other than it's sat for the past couple of months while I convinced myself to sell it -- I have no doubts, however, that I could go out and start it up right now and drive it to Texas, which is where we're moving to at the end of the month and what finally sealed the deal on wanting to sell it.
So, I may not be here long, but, you never know-- I'm the 2nd owner of this car and it's gotten me everywhere I wanted to go for the past 16 years, running to and from a lot of good and bad situations.
See you around the boards!

Welcome to the forum, good luck in the sale.

Sad to hear about your son, but that may change when he finds out the chicks dig cool cars.....

I wouldn't give up on your son yet.

Hard to ask a girl out on date if you don't have wheels.

Yep!

Good luck with your sale, even though it's usually tough to say goodbye to a car, especially one that's been with you so long.
