The TVS 2.3L GT500 S/C upgrade is the same supercharger Roush uses in it's 4.6L kits. You can get the "bottom end" from roush and strap the GT500 supercharger on top of it. Called Roush and verified this information. They actually sell a "bottom end" kit...lower manifold, injectors, heat exchanger, etc. for around $4,000. While tha sounds expensive, it is still cheaper than the $5,600-6,500 for a "complete kit."
PERSONALLY, I would go to the parts for sale section on websites such as this and buy used GT500 parts and piece together my kit. New lower manifold from Roush, GT500 S/C ($250), Used heat exchanger (~$100), used GT500 injectors (~$150), used GT500 intercooler reserviors (less than $50), etc... I haven't completely priced it, but me and a friend (who has a 4.6L) started and figured we could put together a kit for around $2,500 or less dependings on what deals we found... LESS THAN $2500! That's cheaper than a centri with twin-screw response!
I'm just saying that's what I would do though...
EVERYTHING IS STILL AVAILABLE!
