Default price on s/c

ok guys, ive just been looking around, not looking to buy, but i found a Powerdyne s/c, running 6 psi, for 2599, is that a good price? i see that vortech is about 3300, and paxton is about 3300 also, i was just wondering, is it because of the name? or does the powerdyne have somewthing that the other two don't? the only thing that i noticed is that the powerdyne one says that you don't have to tap into any oil lines, period. wouldn't that mean your s/c would heat up VERY quickly? thanx for your opinions

no it just means it uses its own oil supply. Personally I wouldnt get a supercharger unless I could run at least 8# of boost

The powerdyne works pretty well.I'm running the 9lb kit and it was $3000.00 with the chip and all.
The Procharger kit has a self lubricated system as well if you want to look into them.
If that kit is only 5 lbs of boost then you can buy a Vortech 5lb kit for $1900.00 online new.

Don't buy a powerdyne [sm=badidea.gif]

I heard that the inside belt snaps often .. and if you want to replace it, powerdyne won't sell you the belt .. You will have to take out the powerdyne from your car and send it to them to have it fixed !!!!

Trust me ... this is true[sm=trust_me.gif]
