your crank will hold at 400. a buddy of mine has forged pistins and rods with stock crank and it holds just fine. he's got a paxton centrifugal on his GT and runnin a little over 400hp and 400tq with 20,000 miles on motor. dont worry about crank as long as u dont go racin it every other day.

If you can't afford to do the build with the crank, you can't afford to do the build at all.

whatever you decide to do with your car, use centrifugal force over roots just because of the consistancy of boost throughout the rpm range. also, any bolt-ons you put on the car, have them all geared toward a blower application, that is if you do end up with a blower. otherwise, you're just thowing your money away on stuff not needed. finally, i think that buying a kenney bell blower is more paying for the name than it is for the technology and performance.

I knew a guy with an 01 Saleen with a stock botton end who was running 14 psi all the time, his philosophy was if it breaks, he'll fix it. He ran 14 psi for over a year without hurting it, and he raced it a fair amount. He finally had a rod go, but it took a while. -Conversly, I knew a guy with a 01 gt who was making 13 psi and first time out to the track a rod went. 4.6 bottom ends are a crapshoot.
