Isn't this the power adder forum?? lol Anyway, my dad and I worked on a '73 coupe with a 351 Cleveland. It was badass, and Clevelands aren't all that common.

I say put whatever engine you want in there. I would probably keep it brand specific, but that doesn't mean I only like Ford.

My only gripe with Ford is that its engines are too small. Add a liter and things would be more even <img border="0" src= smileys/smiley2.gif>. Back in the original horsepower wars, the Big Three all had 7+ liter engines, and each had VERY quick factory hot rods: 426 Hemi 'Cuda, Chevelle 454 SS, 427 Thunderbolt...[/off topic rant] <img border="0" src= smileys/smiley1.gif>

nice ford engines to consider...ford 427,428,460...i'd say get a 460 and do the monster bore stroke build on it to make it 806CI
