I have a stock H with my LM2's and it sounds great. Very deep at the low rpms. I'll eventually get an aftermarket catted H to keep that deep rumble.

The LM2's are real loud only when you get on the gas. They're very easy to keep quiet if you need to. Some people like that but I think I may upgrade to the LM1's just so I can be heard all of the time.

ummm.. are we talking about the same LM2s? the only way i can make mine quiet is if i'm coasting or sitting at a traffic light idle.
