Default 05 v6 turbo - 400 + hp

so i have been talking to a guy that runs a very well established shop in the area about adding some power to the car.

right now were talking about a custom turbo set up w. 60lb injectors and obviously a tune. earlier he said around 460rwhp installed and sct tuned at a final price of 5300. the shop would need my car for a month. i can get the exact specifications from a email he sent to my work later.

my question is can the car handle this much power ? what kind of risks would i be taking ? and what is any special maint' required ? a friend of mine had paxton procharger put under his hood with 48000 miles on the car and now with close to 65000 its not running anymore. i put probably 15000 miles on the car a year and commute to school & work with it. any suggestions ? thanks everybody ! happy new year

5300... thats a forged v8 and n20. Might want to re-think this one.

+1, i would never spend 5300 on a v6. if the motor stays together at that hp level, the tranny wont

460wrhp on stock internals? So $5,300 for a single turbo setup and tune...sounds a little steep to me. Does anyone make turbo kits for the 4.0's?

you should just find a new tuner. this guys an idiot. 465rwhp in a stock v6 mustang?

5300$ i would swap in a forged v8 like said and run nitrous until you can get a blower on it.

or swap in a v8 with a blower and just run 400~ rwhp like your wanting.
