good to hear. thier prices seem outstanding, and if the crafsmanship seems just as good, then its the only place im going to shop when/if i decide its time for a water/air setup.

first things first for me in the boost world is a meth kit tho.

Your pressure drop will depend on the quality of the intercooler. More so in the end tank designs, most companies don't spend time with researching them, your core fins & thickness as well as orientation will also play a role in it. To say air/air is bad because your tuner had a bad experience with them isn't a fair argument. An improperly setup air/water will be the same way. Both are good if build properly; personally I would stick to air/air for reliability & cost, if I were using a cooling method other than ambient air or space was tight I would use air/water.
Air/water eat soak really only gets bad in traffic or if you aren't moving fast, but that also will depend on your compressor. Water takes the heat away from the air charge faster (so you can use a smaller core), but likewise it also takes a lot longer to cool the water down.

mmm tho, there was one cool experiment running around where the A/C would help chill the water down to ~45*F.

if i remember right it was like 600$, increases A/C discharge temp only 2-3*F. it was for lightnings i believe.

of corse, at that point i'd consider just get a nitrous or CO2 cooler. - well maybe not CO2 for me since it would be blowing right on my turbo at the same time lol.
