2007 V6 Mustang

I currently have a 2007 V6 Mustang Automatic with an axle back magnaflow exhaust. I want to convert the axle back to a cat back by installing the pipe from the axle to the first cats towards the front of the car. I want to keep the stock cats because inspection around me it extremely up tight. Could I possibly go through Magnaflow? Is there anyway i can buy that piece separate without buying a complete cat back kit. If so where and how much money am I looking at paying?

A shop down the street from my house said that they could make me a custom pipe with hangers and all parts included for anywhere between $300-$400. If possible I wish to spend less than that.

Cat back means it includes everything beyond the cats. What you have now is technically a stock cat back with a different muffler. Are you trying to change it to dual exhaust?

no, i want to keep it single exhaust. i just want to replace the pipes from the end of the cats to the beginning of the axle back. Would it be easier to just replace everything? I just dont have a ton of money, and isn't replacing cats expensive?
