1) take it to a tuner ASAP

2) in theory.... no, a bigger tube will lower your PSI and won't change the blower's sound cuz its still spinning the same speed given the same pulley. if you get a larger discharge tube and a smaller pulley it will make the supercharger spin faster and should give u slightly more noise. but you won't hear it over the motor anyways.

Makes senses

But why do I need to get a tune asap when the kit comes with the fmu...

I know to maximize the kit to get a tune.... I thought the point of this kit is you didn't have to run out right away and get a tune

soooo do you think they have psychic powers and can wish on their crystal ball and ask for it to poop out a tune that will work perfect on your car and EVERY other car on the planet? boost is tempermental and no two cars run the same. there are many people on here who have posted horror stories about using the canned tunes that come with their kits. most of those canned tunes are baseline tunes for a completely stock car. if you have any mods, this can throw the tune into the rich or lean side and thats not good. i wouldn't trust it, but your a grown man do what you want.

Installing a SC without a custom tune is a bad idea. Your car will either run like crap or go boom. If you want it to be a screamer, you'd be better off spending the extra ~ $500 and getting it tuned properly.
