You'll find a week's worth of reading of posts discussing exhaust upgrades for the 4.0 in the S197 V6 General forum. If you are staying with the single exhaust the easiest and cheapest is to go with a GT take off muffler. For under $50 you get a nicely improved exhaust note. For a dual conversion FRPP makes a complete duals conversion package that has great sound as well as quality components and fit. Just use the search feature to research on the subject further.

I have an 07 v6 and I put the Flowmaster American thunder axelback muffler on mine, and I love it. It costs $249 I believe on the website, but i got mine brand new off ebay for $180. You also have the option of getting the dual exhaust conversion kit on that too, which I kinda wish I would have, but that involves cutting into your existing rear bumper, or buying a gt bumper. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PzliaOTHu3w Heres a video of my car.
