A new here! Supercharged Fox body!
Hello!
I have '88 GT with totally built engine, drivetrain, suspension etc.
The car has a fresh 306 with BBK SSI -intake, 75mm TB, 70mm mafs, MSD ignition. The compression ratio is 10:1. The car has 310 rwhp.
It has a totally new rear end with 3.55 gears.
Here's a few pic of it:
Now I have been thinking to supercharge this Fox.
I know the compression ratio may be little too high but I only have thought a low pressure.
Let me know your opinion what would be the best supercharger system for my car. My budget is something like $3000, not more.
How much hp gain should I expect when supercharging this car?
All opinions are wellcome, and sorry for my bad english.

My last motor was 9:5:1 with iron heads and was fine. It was a tq monster with a kb. I went with the vortech myself because I didn't like all the tq on the street. It was hard not to boost the motor.
The vortech is nice but, the more they spin, the more boost they make. If you buy a basic kit, you won't start building boost until 4k. If you pulley it down like I did, you will make boost in the low 3s but, will be hitting 7 quick later in the rpm range.
If you wanted 7lbs early and constant, you could do the turbo thing and run a wastegate to where you won't make over 7 pounds and have the boost early. Only thing is though, if your car is a stick, it may not be as street friendly as you want. Then there is always the kb too.
