Slow 1/4 mile times for hp produced, need ideas?

Go to dragtimes.com and do a DA calculation. My car loses half a second from mid summer to late fall. Your sixty is good for street tires. But you still could be spinning in second depending on your gearing. Your going to want to ad racing tires and try again in the fall for best times.

Your trap speed is a true indication of power. A dyno is just a tool that can be manipulated. I don't know the DA for that track, that day, but unless it was 110' out and 100 % humidity, I'd say your dyno #'s are alittle generous. Your car is still capable of easy mid 12's with a better 60ft. But your trap speed should be at least mid teens instead of 106 with almost 400 at the wheels.

Thanks guys for the input.
So yes i agree that my trap speed is def low for the hp produced, So ya i think drag tires will prob make an improvement and ya the cool air of the fall def makes a diff in performance.
I did get a chance to log my IAT while i drove the car, the temp that day was 21'c and while on the highway i would see 22-23'c, in town in some stop and go traffic i would see it get up to 29-34'c, when i noticed it get the worst was after i had turned off the car for a few minutes and restarted it would be at 56'c! but would shortly drop back down to 30s before even moving.
So thinking that at the track there is quite a bit more heat and less air movement going on while sitting in the staging lanes waiting, so i when i pull up to do a burnout and get to the tree i might not be dropping enough IAT yet.
Idk, im gonna have to try the track again sometime and try it to see what it actually is while im there.
thinking that water meth might be a good way to go to get the temps brought back down to keep timing in check.
With that in mind, where is the best location to inject water/meth into? before the IAT sensor? before the MAF? before the intercooler?
Thanks for the responses
