Default no drop suspension help

I want to upgrade my suspension to something stiffer, i dont ever go to the track or autox, just very spirited street driving. i have yet to do any suspension upgrades because i do not have the ability to lower my car, i could possibly get away with about .5" drop but nothing more. this is because the damn side exhaust has left me with NO ground clearance. after looking around this site ive noticed that coilovers have height adjustment, is this a good option for me? ive looked into the H&R kits and they look pretty good but the website says 1-1.5" drop, is it possible to keep it closer to stock height?

I believe H&R sells a kit for the Mustang which only drops .5" - .7" of an inch.
The OE Sport Springs:

Never could find a retailer that had them though.

Talk to Sam Strano (Many time National Champion). His street car runs stock springs with Adjustable Konis. I would try the car with the shocks and alignment he suggest before I changed the springs or bars.

thats a pretty good idea, replacing just the shocks. i wish i wasnt limited by the exhaust, but i would never go back to anything but the side exhaust.

Roush Stage 2 springs only lower .75" front and rear. Also, as mentioned, H&R OE sports only lower .75" I had the Roush springs and they were great.

I'd stay on stock springs, run good shocks and and a set of swaybars.... You don't need springs to make a good handling car. In fact a car like that will be light years more nimble and planted, and ride better too.

I'm happy to help, I make adjustable swaybars for both ends of the car, and we have lots of shock options too.
